I don't know why people even bother in saying that itachi would win, it still isn't proven that eye genjutsu jutsu really have effect on nagato, people gotta realize that sound genjutsu are much more deadly than any of itachis eyes contact genjutsus,because last time i checked it would seem that one of itachis weaknesses are also sound based genjutsus,hell a weak sound based genjutsu could kill itachi,one other it takes a extremely powerful one to take down nagato and it still didn't get the job done, itachi still has no answer to cb, itachi has no way to resist nagato influence if hes stabbed,hell itachi hasn't proven that hes actually able to take a assault from nagato living or dead because kishimoto pretty much pampered itachi that whole fight, itachi most certainly has no answer to fighting gedo mazo, not to mention itachi still has not proven that hes actually abLe to deal with nagatos summoning more effectively WHEN ACTUALLY TRYING TO FIGHT HIM(like jiraiya did),NOT JUST FORCED TO SIT THEIR AND NOT DO ANYTHING,itachi has not proven that he is capable of taking out nagatos shared vision as easy as he did without a distraction to back him up, itachi still has not proven that hes actually able to hit nagato more effectively while hes not being forced to actually sit their and let him due to being controlled,itachi was given a HUGE advantage,the advantage given was so huge that it actually almost made no sense at all for him to lose.
