why is it taking so long for the shippuden sieres to start back?

It's obvious why the fillers are so long. As ive already said before, they're probably makeing this filler much longer than other's so they wont have to have a filler durein the war. I mean cmon. Would you really want to see these kind of fillers in the midst of war? U_U

There are 14 Fillers since The episode Leaf's Hero.
And there are still more fillers I read on Wikipedia....

Come to think of it. Until now, the series is still under "leaf history". It's driving me nuts, one or five about it probably be fine but now, it's like you'll postering the question: "Is this gonna end or not?"
But to be sensible about it, I think maybe because there are a lot of characters to consider (because in the manga, there were totally a lot now after all, five kages and then a joint army...too many characters and then the akatsuki with its new army raised from the dead. Who would probably dubbed the voices? Do they have to put all of these characters on the tv show?...stuff like that...probably)

Just so you all know the fillers are continuing into february next year lol we won't be seeing the main story for quite a while.
So far i have only liked 1 of the fillers but a company has to make money and this is there way of doing it.

Next Feb would be absurd... The manga is already 70 chapters ahead from where the Anime left off... Do you have a link?

To the people who keep saying anime would catch up to manga think about it.
Unless the manga starts making fillers [to drag the story along] its no possible way, even if the anime and manga release new stuff every week..
to make it simple...
I have 5 cookies you have 1, everyday (for naruto it would be 1 week) we both get 1 more cookie, meaning no matter what i'd still have 4 more cookies than you UNLESS i get a half of cookie(fillers in manga) and you still get a whole cookie

not true. Sometimes 1 ep in anime could make up 2 or 3 int he Manga. so tis possible to catch up.
What I don't understand is why they don't start the 5kage arc when the Manga is 70 chapters ahead of the Anime...
Wouldn't be as bad if the fillers actually took place in the Shippuden timeline, instead of going way back into the original series (and most being kinda of pointless).
I rather see some fillers of the captured Jinchuriki fights that weren't shown. Or just missions other characters did during/between main Shippu story.
