Why is it really that Sakura is such a disliked character?

Saving Kankuro's life, part of the duo that defeated Sasori, probably saved numerous lives in the war. Yeah, she's really useless.

She's not much of a main heroine, in the Sasori fight she was at her peak, now she's becoming a forgotten character. Then again, Kishi seems to fail with all of his female character (except Konan and Kushina), even then i was expecting a awesome fight from Konan since she was a member of Akatsuki yet she barely displayed anything apart from a technique which is one use and discounted by everyone.

I completely agree with you there!

It's such a shame that they dont show more of the female characters..

People will really start to forget them :|

I don't know why people hate her so much. She doesn't t really bother me as a character. If there is anyone who is annoying its Ino, Karin and especially Ten Ten. All she can do is throw around weapons which as easy to dodge and block by most characters. And Karin has no true power accept for chakra sensing and healing but she is fairly smart so which kind of picks up for her slack in ninjutsu and genjutsu. Ino is the best out of the three of these girls. But she is weaker than Sakura now in shippuden. But she has show advancement in her ninjutsu which has made her a better ninja. But she was still pretty helpless for most of Shippuden. Sakura is stronger than all three of these girls and this denies her being helpless. These three are in my opinion more annoying as characters and are more useless than what people say Sakura is.

Its no secret that Sakura is probably the most disliked character in the Naruto fan population. The most common reason Ive generally seen is that shes "useless" but I dont think thats true, her overall feats throughout the manga far outweigh any other character in the K11 bar Naruto.

I think the reason she is hated is simply her personality/character: shes whiny, temperamental, loud, impulsive and sentimental, i.e., she is the embodiment of the word b!tch (its like shes on her period 24/7 and this is especially true of the animes portrayal of her character).

When I watched anime, I developed an instinctive dislike of her character for these reasons, I see complaints about her role in the manga as rationalization tbh, I think those of us who dislike her simply dislike her essential character traits.

I'm not too sure what these "feats" were but I definitely agree that she's useless! People rag on Ino but at least she's an important member of an unbeaten trio. Even Tenten is far more useful among kunoichi. Everybody else has shown some form of true heroism- Ino took on Hidan and Kakuzu as part of a team while Sakura had to literally be controlled by Chiyo. Bring back Neji and kill Sakura instead!

I actually like part 2 manga Sakura. She's been nowhere near useless even though it does seem like Kishi's slowly writing her character out. Part 2 anime Sakura however I can easily say I don't like since they seem to take the qualities everyone hates about her and amplify them. That's where I think most of the hate comes from.

I feel Like I said this before but hell, I say it once more. Sakura is a "Damsel in Distress" character. They're not liked by the average Joe. These characters come off as rather annoying. That's just the blunt truth. Once in a blue moon she'll have a moment here and there but she'll eventually revert back to the damsel in distress character.

Sakura is just a complaining character that whines to much about her love life with Sasuke. Also this girl treated Naruto like utter garbage because of her deep infatuation with Sasuke. I don't enjoy her presence i gave her a chance, but when the Pain Arc and Kage Summit Arc arrive. I just started to lose admiration and hope for Sakura. Even her name gets on my nerves.

This she and Ino my reason too now that Naruto is powerful they try to act more friendly to him or use him.

I am neutral for sakura at first but since he make naruto bring back sasuke to the village and then lied to naruto she loves him thats seriously make me hate her. Now I am glad naruto choose hinata. Sakura is hated or disliked because of her attitude, true.
She do the insane punches and slapping :flaw:to Naruto because of comic relief/make us laugh, true.
To be frank I don't hate her or dislike her, I just appreciate her as a character of Naruto.
Yes, she have amazing medic ninja skills and strong punches. So what with the hate??
Is it because she's a bitch to Naruto? I'm very sure there is some point that Sakura cared for Naruto a lot and not just Naruto but also Sasuke and Konoha.

well i love her character
i honestly dont see her as any of those traits as bad, i mean we see tsunade and kushina like that
but no one hates them
also shes sweet and caring too, she cares about her friends and village - thats why she loves being a medicial nin,
part of being helpful and takin care of someone
those scenes of her hitting naruto or just getting mad it him, doesnt mean sh*t cause its suppose to be funny
plus i see sakura has a more motherly/bestfriend role to naruto.
