1. The character designs are lazy. Alot of the characters have the same facial structures and body types. Same with the women, either have huge boobs, or childish figure. And all the women (except Orihime and like, three others) all seem to have anger problems. Same personalities repeat.
2. The story is repetitive. Seems like there is always a damsel in distress, first Rukia, then Orihime.
3. Main enemy of each arc, somehow always has the exact number of henchmen needed to counter the main guys and vice versa. It gets repetitive.
4. Most chapters nowadays consist of one slash that takes several panels to complete, then an explanation and chapter ends. Next chapter showing the result of the slash, and more explaning. Rarely do we ever get chapters with real story events. Lately, the battles all have been pretty short and anti-climatic. They dont need to be TOO long, but at least long enough to be interesting.
5. In battle, the antagonists always end up squaring off against the only characters capable of fighting them. ALWAYS, guaranteeing the protagonist will always win. its never a mismatch.
6. character development is lame and generic.
7. asspulls left and right.
One thing I do like however are the character's clothing and styles. They are pretty unique. But thats it. Bleach lost its shine after Hueco Mundo. Now it feels dragged on, a war arc? Copying Naruto, ok. Kubo. Just save urself and end it like the anime did.
First,I don't get why people whim about why they don't like this manga/that manga. Is it really that hard to not speak of the manga they don't like or is it that they like to do so.Addiction much ?Talking bad about character designs is not even a option by default.Bleach manga has the best and realistic character designs unlike other manga's that I read. Each has their own, unique appearance to recognize easily.Huge boobs and childish figure?,so far every manga has those two figures. There is nothing to say about it.
Damsel in distress ?It follows the typical shounen thing.A young boy gains powers which he uses to fight evil and save a damsel in distress. It can't get more original than that right?.See where we are going ?.Aside from SS arc and Arrancar arc,I don't remember it was used much in Bleach. Many other shonen manga did used that trope twice or many times like in Naruto & Bleach isn't an exception to it.Repetitive ? Calling the story is repetitive just because of that damsel in distress thing? It would be better if you post anything constructive rather than saying the story is repetitive just because of two/more occasions of that your so called distress thing.Certainly there are other things where you can argue that story is bad but trying to arguing with that distress thing is nothing more than a pitiful thing. If anything you can argue that pacing of the story isn't fast enough but you can't argue that it is far from being called slow.
Same number ? In SS arc it is all about Aizen,Captains,Ichigo,Rukia and co.In Arrancar arc, there are of a 20 in number. In Quincy arc, there are over 20 of your so called henchmen. It is made out like that so that each & every other character will have their screentime. It wouldn't be good if protagonist of a manga alone kills all of the henchmen and antagonists all by himself thus making other characters of the manga irrelevant. And again calling it repetitive for that?I will leave this to your consciousness.
I will agree that Kubo fails in using the manga panel effectively well. Can't say whether he is doing this knowingly or not.It has always been like this from some years.Yes he do a panel just to show how a sword is pulled out or do just show a panel full of sword or just leave some white space in some panels if not all. That is how bleach is from the very start or atleast that is what I saw since I am reading it.I am not a Big fan of Bleach, given that I didn't read the Manga from the very start of the first chapter,Just picked it up when Anime ended. From that upto this point, true that Kubo fails to use the panel space effectively but you can't see that in all of the chapters or you can't see that each and every manga panel. You can observe that in some selected panels only. There are also the chapters where the majority of the scans are nicely done or they just left off.It is all about your preference you like it or not.
That is one of the things that is not so good about Bleach. The characters in Bleach can be found in majority of other shounen manga. They follow the most basic of character archetypes.Surely the characters in bleach doesn't have much of a background story. To me it seems like Kubo didn't planned well for the characters backstory in way long.It is certainly one the back drops that bleach had tho it is still not that bad to be claimed.Characters in bleach don't have much in depth but they aren't that much explorable either.Characterisation in bleach is simple and basic.
I don't even know what you are talking about here. What is the meaning of that ? You can argue that Bleach may not be a Best manga but you can't argue that it is horrible. It is good in its own ways. For the story of the bleach,Kubo didn't planned well for that as of currently. All about bleach is Aizen untill the defeat of him.Later that it showed that the manga lacked the pre-planning of the things.Ichigo becoming half-Shinigami,Quincy,Visored etc are nothing but a messed up characterisation for Ichigo though reasons behind it were good.As of lately,it is doing somewhat really good with these Quincy elements in the story. Also didn't Kubo said sometime ago before he announcing the final arc of the manga that Bleach has a really long way to go and he had material to do it so ? But after that he suddenly announced the end of the manga.May be because of that schedule, manga went a bit off.Guess, who knows that?
Normally I don't like to involve in anyone of these uninteresting criticism about the manga they don't like. But your thread is Claiming something like "Horrible" along those lines which I don't like and isn't fit to be titled next to Bleach manga by default. You said that Character designs are bad and you claimed that you liked clothing and style.Aren't they the part of character designs ?Copying Naruto ?Lately I am seeing this line more often than not.Sure it would be great if you list them what are they,So that We can post a complaint to the Head of the department in the Manga

.Don't think of a Shonen tropes that existed from very long ago time which are commonly seen by us from the manga's we read. That doesn't make them a copy of one another.
Again threads of this type are nothing more than a excuse to post and lure others who supportive to it in the name of opinion. It is more often used than not.Well till at the end of the day,I have nothing against you.
