Why I believe Hashi was the best Hokage.

Well Hashirama rejected Madara, and that's why he became evil and is now the biggest threat to the ninja world. He's not perfect either!

Was it not both Uchiha and Senju that rejected Madara....not specifically Hashi? Besides, Madara was the one who originally opposed the truce in first place, which would make sense to reject him as a Hokage.

I don't agree with a few of your choices.

Hiruzen tried to use other measures to deal with the Uchiha Clan-- it was Danzo's fault to be honest here. Orochimaru being Hiruzen's fault i agree, because he could of stopped him several times; but chose not too.

Tsunade is useless? Really? She saved Sasuke and Kakashi from Itachi's Tsukuyomi. She became the 5th Hokage in order to create order in the village. She saved the retrieval team that was rescuing Sasuke from the Sound 5. Sasuke is a missing-nin usually you die because it's an act of betrayal against your village, yet she still didn't command any Anbu troops to kill him. She took Sakura under her wing and has made her into a somebody. She permit Naruto to take on difficult missions, when the elders warned her not too. She saved the whole population of the village from death, injuries, etc in the Pain Arc. She gave Naruto permission to participate in the War. That was pretty useless of you to forget.

I agree with Hashirama being a true leader. I feel Minato is the best thought, because Hashirama was the founder of the village. He basically was the root of all problems.

Madara loved Hashirama, but Hashi chose Mito and that's when the hate began..

Sticking to the topic of the best Hokage...I will give it to Hiruzen. Hashirama did something amazing by co-creating the village system and distributing the tailed beasts to maintain world balance....but maybe this also caused the First World Ninja War which claimed his life.

Tobirama as a leader made the village tick with systems such as the ANBU and the academy but also died on the First War before his fruits could germinate.

I would call Hiruzen the greatest leader because he took over power at a very young age and despite fighting three world wars, managed to maintain Konoha's status of the greatest nation (economically and militarily). Being a great leader does not mean that you only judge military power or by contributing the least to the present Naruto conflict....because that analogy would make the S06P the worst leader of all time

Ultimately it means maintaining global peace through hard decisions...and thats y Hiruzen takes my vote.

Damn...he was such a great leader that he was re-instated after Minato's death.

tsunades the best best hokage. in office, she really has no misgivings next ot her name. hashirama had the whole "lets seal the msot dangerous demon in the world inside my wife/let her do it" kind of an ******* thing to let her do. then theres giving the things to other villages which led to countless rampages and deaths. then theres letting madara live and take his powers. AND she didnt stand for any of the elders bullshit. she even rebuilt konoha twice when it was attacked by powerful foes.

Minato is the best...I know he didnt kill Tobi,but this is because he had some greater duties to do........Saved Konoha from kyubi...Saved our hero Naruto......And.....Used RDS to suicide..Perfect flawless.

hiruzen and tsunade both were failures
neither minato nor danzo had any time to actually do something important
so its like hashi being better than his bro, which is just canon..
it would be whole other thing if u`d say he was best kage ever..

I'm sorry sir but didn't Hashirama want to oppose the Uchiha and that's why Madara retaliated? That's what caused everything above. Tsunade isn't useless, without her the Kage would be dead long ago.

Hashirama should of made sure Madara was dead.

If we judge based on their mistakes, hashirama made the biggest fuck up of all by not killing Madara.
