Why fav the MC?

That's nice to know. I liked part 1 Naruto because he was easier to sympathise with @ the others I prefer characters for their stories and their progression rather than being a powerwhore all the way through. Not saying, I want them to be complete weaklings.

Part 1 naruto was simply more badass. He was more reckless and more unpredictable as a way of deceiving his opponent. Part 2 naruto became dumber and at the same time burdened with finding peace and all that.

I didn't actually take much of an interest in him at first. I was pretty amused however, that he was a prankster. When did he became my favorite? I like him when he swore to never turn back after getting saved from the Demon Brothers. Naruto started growing more on me when he yelled at Zabuza. Then he became my definite favorite when he stopped Orochimaru's snake in the Forest of Death.

He was and still is my favorite way before this whole BM thing happened. So yeah...

you know how boring those fights would have been if they were done in the scenario that you made them in
them fights are done like that on purpose for suspense and to keep the reader interested

I actually liked naruto more back then. I feel now that he became so op, he became boring and bland, the thing that really made his character interesting was his flaws and how he was an underdog.

Yeah, that naruto was pure. After the pain fight, everything changed with a lot of the characters. I feel like kishi should've ended the manga with the pain fight. Everything after that was kinda anti-climatic

Naruto isn't my fav but I do have a weakness for falling for optimistic protagonist's charisma that pulls me into their character, so he's up there.

I like part 1 Naruto because he taught me never give up.

I like part 2 Naruto because his charactet growth was made very well. Also, his sage mode one of the best powers that i ever seen in manga/anime
