Ok, first tbh I found the story involving Dressrosa rather meh. I mean I felt Crocodile was a much better villain because where as Doflamingo used status and a bunch special abilities to commit his atrocities, Sir Crocodile basically just used his own ability and cunning. That earns him major props.

That is not to say I didn't like the arc as a whole though. I loved.

The Fujitora reveal.
Law's scheme against Doffy and how that all worked out.
The tournament
The tournament combatants (the strong ones were excellent characters)
The Sabo reveal
Law and Doflamingo's backstory
And the Doflamingo fight. (The executives were crap):|

But what made this one of my favorite islands were the average ppl (weakling fighters/ soldiers). The ppl that I would usually call random fodder. In normal circumstance when Luffy faces the arc's FV. The ppl usually either don't know about the situation or just look on saying that they r betting their lives on Luffy.

When I saw those fodder willing to reduce themselves to meat shields to buy Luffy sometime I could only-

Dressrosa is cool, but it's getting rather too long.

The arc is great and all but definitely suffered from many unnecessary sub-plots, and for me many unnecessary characters that could have been introduced in other arcs not stuffing everything in the big cluster **** that is dressrosa right now, which resorted in an extreme arc length that could have ended a long time ago.

I agree with this.

The author has been introducing too much for one arc, we have the Sabo returns thing, the Burgress causing trouble sub plot, the whole thing with the continent splitter, and I have lost track of all the sub plots in this arc.

My favorite arc was the War at Marineford arc.

This arc had a lot focus on Luffy gathering an army which would help him in beginning his quest to challenge the yonko and their vast crews.
So it was sort of a neccesitty and was bound to happen at one point. And they deserve some development for that, even if it's minor, a lot of these characters will be following the Sh's from now on.
Only ones I think could have done without were the Tontattas tbh , they just seem a bit out of place lol

The tontata's seems quite okay Imo, their princess Is gon be the one to heal law, thou her ability can be transfered to another character.
I find the tontata's place quite befitting

It's basically Pinocchio mixed with Alabasta

True :| as far as the main plot goes anyway. As far as main plot Alabasta>Dressrosa, but it's the long list of other things that happened in this arc that made it noteworthy.

Also as a villain Crocodile>Doffy

Dressrosa just has more carnage I suppose

U must mean to the area, because the fights were much better in Alabasta....maybe with. The exception of Doffy vs Luffy

I agree, but Corazon and Sabo made this arc for me. My two favorite characters.

Better than majority of the pre-timeskip arc.

1. Water 7 arc (rescuing robin and so on)

2. Marine ford

3. Dressrosa

4. Fishmen

^^ My fav arcs.

Let's wait till the arc is done. I'm 100% sure something crazy will go down at the end of the arc like how most OP arcs have been.

Of course it will, but whatever big thing happens will just lead in to future arcs.

Fishman island- Big Mam challenge
Punk Hazard- reveal of scheme to challenge Yonkou.

Etc.

I bet its Kaidou's entrance, he is the only Yonkou that has yet to appear but he is the main villain of the current saga.

Doflamingo's fall will lead to his entrance, I still think that when Doflamingo is defeated he will survive but be dragged off by Kaidou's men who make a surpise entrance in the end.
