Ok, first tbh I found the story involving Dressrosa rather meh. I mean I felt Crocodile was a much better villain because where as Doflamingo used status and a bunch special abilities to commit his atrocities, Sir Crocodile basically just used his own ability and cunning. That earns him major props.
That is not to say I didn't like the arc as a whole though. I loved.

But what made this one of my favorite islands were the average ppl (weakling fighters/ soldiers). The ppl that I would usually call random fodder. In normal circumstance when Luffy faces the arc's FV. The ppl usually either don't know about the situation or just look on saying that they r betting their lives on Luffy.
When I saw those fodder willing to reduce themselves to meat shields to buy Luffy sometime I could only-
