[Discussion] why don't mangaka tell stories of Africa...

...i have read lots of manga in the past two years and i haven't seen any about Africa, some manga's that i have read talk about other continents and their culture but they don't say nothing about the Africa continent , this continent has amazing things that other continents don't.

As I recall, there was some action in Africa in Code Geass as well.

There are probably more manga's that have their work based on African or ancient Egyptian culture then u think. It's just not mentioned as that specifically because often manga's are set in a different/fantasy world. So the names are different but it's inspired from it nonetheless.

Take Magi for example. It's filled with middle Eastern culture but u won't hear anyone say "Africa"
but we all know that is where the mangaka got his inspiration from
Same with One Piece -Alabasta Arc.

Bonolenov from Hunter x Hunter is basically from some African tribe, but of course they don't say which country he's from - and none of the countries or continents in HxH are real, but they are based on real places.

Kakin is in North America/Mexico
under that is South/Central America
Greed Island is between Yoriban and Australia
