Itachi got jack s*it for what he did. imo what he did was the biggest sacrifice a shinobi has did in the manga
no it isnt. minato sacrificed his son's happiness, his own life, his wife's life, and his very SOUL (he was trapping himself in the death god's belly for eternity, the worst hell one can condemn themselves to) for naruto's sake so hed one day defeat tobi. madara sacrificed his brother, and his pride for the clan only to be cast out and betrayed by all. pain sacrificed half his village, his friend yahiko, most of original akatsuki, his own happiness and desires and put them aside so he could seek peace and in the end gave up his life to resurrect the village that killed his parents.
he had to stay that way so no one could find out the truth bout him
what was so bad about that? itachi wants to be a villain, so be it. better that than saving the world by revealing madara was alive before tobi planned it to be so. itachi cared more about his clans honor than telling everyone info they need to know.
He murederd his own blood for the sake of his village
and then did nothing else to help said village besides making tobi agree not to attack it. but itachi knew he was dying adn stil made a piss poor attempt at taking out tobi before his time was up. itachi even proved he cares more about sasuke than he does konoha or the world.

think on it real hard and it will come to you. no one who mindrapes people for no reason and ruins their blood relation's life is deserving of any respect. itachi is the single worst shinobi in history. he put everyone and everything in danger by not killing oro and tobi when he had the chance, not telling konoha everything he knows when he has the chance, and by turning sauske into konoha's greatest threat.
he killed his mother and didnt even try to save her as he did sasuke. is that a kind and noble person?

he let oro go for no reason despite knowing oro was an irredeemable child murderer. appparently in itachis mind, mikoto deserves to die for loving her sons but oro doesnt deserve to die for slaughtering hundreds for his cruel experiments. i love itachis logic. do somethign that konoha doesnt like, you need to die and are evil. but torture and experiment on children and enslave people to do your bidding, your great! do what you want! itachi will never try and stop you until the very last moment.
