Why does the series portray EMS Madara as a "Susanoo only guy?"

EMS Madara in all his battles only relied on Susanoo, which was kind of disappointing for me because I though he further expanded on his abilities.

Even MS Sasuke utilizes more uchiha base techniques than Madara does.

If Madara's Susanoo was restricted, then how does he beat the likes of Itachi/Sasuke who can use amatersu?

I'm sure the fan is handy for like a few moments but he can't evade them all or put out the flames.

The series clearly showed us that every MS user is different. Shisui's abilities, Obito's, Sasuke's etc. Madara's proficiency may have lied purely in Susano'o and his deeper insight into being able to tell the difference between Hashirama and his clones. If you restrict Susano'o, Madara is still faster than both Itachi and Sasuke pre-Rikudou and superior in every aspect besides being able to use Amaterasu. Better at Taijutsu, Sharingan negates Genjutsu, superior Katon fries them, better reserves etc.

That's really what madara was known for. I've never seen or heard anything about his basic skills as a ninja but people (fanboys) tend to create mental illusions that madara was some sort of all around expert genius at everything from ninjutsu to taijutsu to genjutsu etc.

But we've seen next to nothing. Although he probably is superior to most people in those regards, he's not anything significant. Well he does have fire style...

I agree. For whatever reason, itachis Amaterasu is super deadly and quickly/instantly destroys things, while sasukes seems to be practically harmless unless in blade form.

Madara refers to his speed even without Amenojikara. That doesn't mean he's faster than Juubi Jin Madara in foot speed.

I somewhat agree...

I mean the primary technique that all Uchihas must know is they're custom(religious) fireball technique, and afterwards genjustu.

But then you have people like Sasuke that has shown two elements instead of one(Madara), while wielding a flame that can attack from all angles and burn almost everything Madara has to offer.

Pre-Rikudou, I clearly explained that. And he didn't, he likely Shunshin'd to get into Amenotejikara range to get there. Also, he does have superior Taijutsu. Sasuke's most proficient use was his copying of Lee and adopting it as his own. Madara routinely clashed with Hashirama throughout his life with Kenjutsu and Taijutsu, and Hashirama is from the Senju clan, renowned for being good at every ninja technique, and he's the strongest, so...

And according to Orochimaru, Itachi can make what Sasuke did look like childs play.

I think every main Uchiha taijustu skills are on another level.

Thats Kishi trying to showcase Madara's Rinnegan. If he let Madara use his regular MS abilities, he wouldn't showed much on Rinnegan against Gokage. Even with just Susano'o, he didn't showed much about Rinnegan.
