Why does Madara have Ranton?

Why is it that Madara suddenly busts out a new Kekkei Genkai with No foreshadowing, or anyone taking any notice of it? You would think that if someone had a KKG, they would atleast use it when they are alive.

It can't be because he was the juubi jinchuriki, because the juubi doesn't give you any special chakra natures, Unless you count the Gudou Damas.

Because if you remember earlier Kurama stated it wouldn't have been possible for naruto to pull jubitos chakra if the bijuu didn't like him and give him their chakra. Meaning he can use parts of their chakra if he has a link

The only way a person can possess Gudoudama is by possessing over 4 different nature releases. He has all the Bijuu inside of him, that is what grants him Kekkei Genkai and the different nature releases.

If you remember rinnegan basics, the rinnegan allows the user to use all basic nature types. Even without the juubi, Madara would still be able to use lightning style techniques.

None of the Bijuu give you Ranton, And neither does the Juubi.

To those saying it's because of the rinnegan, The rinnegan only gives you 5 elements, not the ability to combine them into a KKG.

It could be his own Kekkai Genkai. We still don't know the full extend of the "old" Madaras power. Or Jūbi/Shinju contains all Kekkai Genkai which base on the "Godai Kihon Seishitsu", the five basic elements.
Due to Jūbis power Madara is able to combine even four Seishitsuhenka to use Gudōdama. I guess, it should also work with at least two elements. It would make sense if the Shinju is the source of the Kekkai Genkai as well.
