[Question] Why does Luffy's hand lights on fire?

When Luffy uses Red Hawk in doflamingo fight and some other move(whose name I don't remember) in fishman island his arm lights on fire or it looks fire is appearing from somewhere, where does this fire come from, is there any explanation for this?

I think it's cause of his G2,G2 makes steam and when Luffy combines haki and G2 and makes Gomu gomu no pistol it reproduces fire I think that's that.

Physics are not the same in the OP universe. Of course you can always say it's because of Ace or whatever, but that doesn't seem like a good explanation.
