why does lee have no chakra??

Yeah, what The Light said. He has chakra, but cannot mold or form it to use ninjutsu/genutsu.

I don't think it was ever explained why. Maybe it's got something to do with genetics, maybe he's got lead poisoning, who knows. He's just unable to mold chakra properly.

Maybe he's just more realistic - there are always some things people can or can't do ... I love the fact Lee doesn't stop trying to be the shinobi he can be!
