First he downgrades him from his Sage Kyuubi mode with TSB and Element control to his old Frog Sage kyuubi. While letting sasuke keep all of his newly given power and even let him get better at it since kaguya arc. And now he's being solo'ed and killed in the upcoming movie and chapter.

Hokage naruto was suppose to be an unkillable beast and now he's a chump.
