why does kishi always make naruto look shit next to the gary-sue of this manga

i mean whenever naruto is fighting next to a gary sue kishi screw naruto..that the reason i dnt like naruto fighting with a top tier along side him..i mean just take the battle against nagato,kishi basically made naruto beyond stupid and below his normal strenght in order for itachi to save him and look like a boss...that part of the reason i dnt wanna see naruto fight edo haxdara along with the kage bc trust me naruto is gona turn into a punching bag..naruto only shine when he fight alone or with someone who is not top tier or gary sue aka itachi..

indeed indeed. but atleast for the kage fight its a clone and not the real deal so its ok. once the real stuff shows up he better step up and be clint eastwood. my biggest issue will be with his speed, its never constant.
