[Spoilers] Why does Kaguya need an army?

Whatever she needs them for, I hope it is for a huge fight for whatever reason. That would be amazing. Imagine how large of a fight that would be. Bigger than all of the recent fights. Talk about some destruction. I love some destruction.

well sure if mindless destruction is your thing. Kaguya seems like the type to give you waht you asked for. Completely power hungry that one.

As is shown in the new chapter, Kaguya plans on turning everyone into White Zetsus in order to create an army. In addition, Kaguya herself even says that this place was her precious nursery and that she doesn't want to damage the land any more than she has to.

So my question is, what does Kaguya need an army for? She has EVERYONE in the world (or so we have been led to believe) under the IT, so what is the point of having soldiers? Who does she need soldiers to fight against? Does she just want mindless slaves/servants?

This is probably why Kakashi asked her what her objective was, because so far it seems unclear why she would want everyone to be a White Zetsu or need soldiers. What do you guys think she wants the White Zetsus for?

When Naruto met Hagoromo, he mentioned that his mother came from another place to eat the fruit of the holy tree. Naruto asked where, and Hagoromo refused to answer.

I think that part is important. Wherever Kaguya came from, she is intending to return to with an army under her command.

It's also interesting to note that apparently she tried this plan before and did not succeed. This means that there is a way to stop it. I would be very interested to hear about her history, what she tried in the past, why it didn't work, and why she thinks this time will be different.

True but the other half of the world doesn't know what's going on, and it is now daytime where Naruto and Sasuke are(at least it looks like it is. could be wrong in this), which means the other half of the world should be getting wrapped up in the shinju tree right about now.



but she didn't call them minions. She called them soldiers. If you are creating soldiers...That means you intend to launch a campagin on something or someone.

Which again brings up the question: Why does she need soldiers when the world is, more or less, already hers? Is their yet another villain?
