First of all, he's a medical ninja, couldn't he just fix his vision? I mean, I'm pretty sure he's the only ninja in the series (that I'm aware of) whom requires glasses. I'm really hoping he requires these glasses to correct some problem with his eyesight, because if he's only wearing them for the look then he's a bigger tool than I thought.

Well, if he's going for the look, you would think somebody would be nice enough to tell him it isn't working. It makes him look like a tool.
Buuuut, if he really does need prescription lenses to correct his vision, he has all kinds of assets at his disposal. There is no reason he cannot permanently fix his vision without lenses.

ummm. If you think about it. I dont recall any glass anywhere? Where did he get glass from? none of the windows have it. dont think Ive seen a glass bottle? Might be something he came across as a medical ninja to correct vision.

Kabuto wears his glasses to restrain something about himself. Watch/Read the Chunin Exams... he gets his glasses knocked off and begins going a little crazy before he grabs them are regains his composure.
Naruto.wikia says that it's to restrain/hide his killing intent.. not too sure about that myself.. but he wears them for a purpose.

Or the glasses could represent his Sociopathic nature and when they *gleam in the manga it represents killing intent i.e. a split personality disorder and the void between these 2 are his glasses maybe his fathers etc we know he saw his clan/family massacred and only he survived...yadada....
