Why do you think Kishimoto destroyed Kakashi?

Kakashi copied over 1000 Justus with his sharingan that doesn't mean he knows them
When the attacks were being used against him he copied it at that time, doesn't necessarily mean he knows them
And what do u expect he lost a lot of power with the sharingan
It can't just become powerful logically for no reason

I didn't watch the movie and don't intend to, i consider that a filler, so i don't care how he is portrayed to be inside. What i know however is that manga Kakashi was perfect

It is pretty sad and pathetic. He should still be awesome without his sharingan tbh. Wasn't he a jounin at the age of 7 or somethin, ffs?

That was without the sharingan too.

Kakashi used to be my second fav. Now I just don't feel the same way anymore. Yes kishi ruined him. There was no need to get rid of his sharingan. Neither was there any need to make him Hokage while Tsuande was still alive and well.

Those 1000 jutsu that were hyped since early part 1 and then again in the war arc, yet completely shoved aside. I haven't watched the movie, but if what I've heard is true, then that is just pitiful. Way to ruin a character. I thought Minato got it bad, but Kakashi was destroyed beyond repair. What happened to all his talent and genius and prodigy that he was regarded as even before the sharignan... Jonin at age 12-13 is quite a big deal. Already created an A rank - S rank jutsu by that age as well. Then kishi does him dirty like this. That's unforgivable shoddy writing in my eyes.

This manga that was once about natural talent and hard work . Turned into predestined BS DBZ rikudo power up crap. Literally hand outs left and right. All that hard work thrown away in the end just like that. Naruto went from his strongest form being sage mode (which only put him in like the top 20, went from KCM to BM to BSM to Rikudo BS Mode all within the span of 2 days in the war arc.

That's why the likes of Minato, Ay, Third Raikage, Hiruzen etc are the ones I like the most. No BS needed.

Kakashi's development was cool in my opinion. Him losing sharingan was a great touch to his character. His eye represented Obito. And after Obito had his closure that eye served its purpose.

1. I merely pointed that out to showcase how a young leader would be introduced so early, I just personally felt as if Naruto was not mentally ready to become Hokage yet, whilst Gaara was more of the serious type, he was slowly prepared to lead the nation. Naruto was still are goofball, but I think he personally changed during the time between the Last -- and him becoming a father.

Agreed on everything else!

I got ya

Yeah it's a shame Kakashi was sort of put on a crutch with the sharingan, although he was a jounin before he got the sharingan I believe so he is sort of something, albeit ranks don't matter. Although his role as hokage did end up making that wondrous city behind the leaf, and a hokage shouldn't just be in position just in case the village is in danger, but to work with other nations while maintaining the order of their own village (in this case the leaf). Just because the apocalypse was ended/avoided does not mean daily problems won't arise. Kakashi was practically made the hokage because Naruto was too young and inmature, can't really argue against that. Naruto's accolades since the Pein invasion boosted his status far too much for it not to happened, the war/IT arc just further boosted that status. Although there was no one else to be that intermediate role, unless Kishi wanted to keep Tsunade. Kakashi did good imo, especially in terms of respecting his father's legacy.

I don't hate Kakashi but his character reminds me of the beating a dead horse saying.

I don't think Kishi ruined his character. He got to retain his powers and experience the power of sharigan throughout the manga. It was nothing, but a crutch for Kakashi to survive in the shinobi world. Kakashi had a long life of living in war, but got to watch his students become powerful enough to bring peace. He also got a seat as a kage and retire with his best friend. But power wise yes Kakashi is fodder level.
