I read because books can improve your writing skills. ~ Writing skills gives you more ideas, Ideal for Manga writer, Which is where most Manga writers get their idea's from. Kishi gets his ideas for Naruto (Amaterasu, Sasunoo, Tsuyikomi..etc) From Japan..By doing research? xd

Seriously though, it's great for your vocabulary, grasp on grammar, sense of humor, imagination. It makes you think, sometimes even analyze. It makes for great conversation with people at parties.
