why do they close threads?

Reposted threads the same topic spammed over and over. Most of them were closed simply because some people don't know how to follow the rules on here and actually don't try to see if something has already posted about that topic.

Sometimes the threads hurt too many butts so the mods close them in order to stop any more fatalities.
