Why do the Ninja run like that?

I think with the arms behind them they void some aspects of air drag by cutting through the air to produce less resistance... i could be completely wrong though...

Main reason is because Kishi thought it's easier to draw.

Other reasons is better momentum and easier access to ninja tools.

He made the characters run that way because Kishimoto himself has sensitive armpits and he has to tun like that aswell. So he made everyone in NV have sensitive armpits aswell.

The arms are at an angle, so that they experience less wind resistance, similar to an airplane

easier for kishi to draw?
arms at the side could make it easier to draw weapons?
Or it could be that less arm movement is more stealthy since thereʻs less of a chance of your arms banging into something and making a noise?
