[Discussion] Why do some people think Sasuke doesn't have tsukuyomi?

I just think he don't have a reason to use it. He is not a big fan of genjutsu after all. He used genjutsu on Killer Bee and we saw how that ended so he might just be unsure of his skills in that department.

That is not how EMS works. You keep the same techniques you had, you don't get new techniques on top of it. And there are many valid reasons to believe he does not have Tsukuyomi. For one, his genjutsu has never been called by that name. Second, it does not have the properties that makes Tsukuyomi a Tsukuyomi. Finally, he has what appears to be an MS technique in his right eye, Enton. I never heard of one eye having more that one MS technique except in the case of Susano'o which uses both eyes. These don't rule out the possibility of him having it, it just makes it extremely unlikely.

The fact that he is using Itachi's eyes is what makes it all the more likely that EMS Sasuke has tsukuyomi. It would be dumb for Itachi's eyes to lose their techniques just because they changed hosts when we know you can gain not just MS, but the power of all ocular doujutsu through transplanting.

nope he doesn't.sasuke has always had enton and amaterasu as his MS and EMS powers.
there's a huge misconception about EMS,people think having an EMS eye grants the brother's eye techs,that's incorrect.

in normal cases,transplanting a MS eye gives the new user all its powers but in the form of a normal MS that will fade after using it too much.

in the case of taking the sibling's eyes,a new dojutsu is awakened the EMS,a dojutsu that has the user's previous powers(sasuke's not itachi's),with eyes that can never lose the light.
