:| The whole manga was centered around breaking the system of hate. Naruto was the exception to that system, not Sasuke. Based on the way things worked in that system, Sasuke considering killing people in the village in response to the village having his people killed is natural. How can you not understand that?
Don't get me wrong, I get the eye for an eye thing but that doesn't justify your actions. Hate is a vicious circle. You can't control your emotions but you can control your actions. Gaara has beaten 'hate' as well.
