Why do ppl hate sasuke?

let's see why:

1. he is a cruel anti social elitist, always mentioning his "blood superiority" to Naruto (btw i was soooo happy when i found out that Naruto is 4th's son)^^

2. he is a traitor, abandoning his friends, his sensei and most of all his country!!!

3. he went to Orochimaru, who btw attacked Konoha and killed so many people, not to mention the Hokage^^

4. He then killed orochimaru, who made him super strong.

5. He killed Itachi, still remembering what happened when he was a kid, but he never tried to actually find out more about that day by asking elders, anbu and others.

6. He had the nerve to even wear Akatsuki's cloak!!! after he was told by Tobi/Madara the truth about Itachi (i know it might not be true but he believes it and he seeks for revenge...AGAIN)

7. He attacked 8 tails and surrender him to Akatsuki, fully knowing of what will happen next to him U_U

8. He abandoned Sakura in a disgusting way^^

9. He was about to stab Naruto the first time he saw him after 3 years!!

10. He is far too hot and his hair is always amazing, that pisses me off^^

No one is saying he likes Sasuke's choices 100%, just that we can undestand him. And that in real life most people's reactions would have resembled more Sasuke's than Naruto's, given the situation.

Naruto is not a realistic character (though I love him) if you tell me. He is like an angel, really, too good. But Naruto had never been acknowledged by anyone until he was 12, while Sasuke had a loving and caring mother. He had everything and lost it. Loosing what you had makes you dark. And I'm not sure what Naruto thinks of more, himself or Konoha. He wants to be awesome to be ackonwleged, though he's nicer. Sasuke does not show feelings, we really don't know if he cares about anyone. He did care about Team 7, he said he needed to "cut bonds" (thus, he had them) to achieve his goals. Just took the decision as he felt he had the DUTY to avenge his clan. (it was not an amusement).



That's a good point, and they will love Naruto more once he avenges Jiraiya.



How can Itachi, who had to make a hard decision but took a wrong decision that turned his little brother mad, be now considered a saint? Itachi did what he could, but he tortured his little brother, he made his life misserable. Why couldn't he find another way to make Sasuke stronger.

In real life most people do not forgive. This is how most wars start: I say you attacked me, I pay you back.

i do agree with u that itachi is kind of good for doing that... and i wish there was another way he could've made sasuke stronger besides forcing him to resort to vengance...

but like seriously 1. Sasuke DID NOT know the truth... we do now so u have to remember that.

and 2. i don't really agree with the How war starts thing but that's kind of irrelevent and i don't wanna get reported for spamming lol

u all claim that sasuke is horribly wrong for killing someone for revenge... didn't shikamaru just kill someone for revenge of asuma? but he's a complete hero to everyone

and if someone is holding u back from ur goals then why should u stay with that person... the difference for naruto is that no one ever holds him back from his dreams because they involve konoha which i'm not saying is bad but comparing sasuke's goals to naruto's is not a good idea

Wow this is a long thread. I personaly hate Sasuke because of all the bad decisions he has made that have been stated in this thread. The wholr 'Konoha was holding him back thing' doesn't make sense to me. Sasuke only wanted power so he could murder Itachi. If your friend only wanted to get stronger so that they could kill someone would you just sit back and watch them be consumed by revenge and gain their power or would you try to intervene and point them in the right direction. Like Kakashi tried to do.

When you think about it Kakashi could have been consumed by revenge when his dad or Obito died. He could have hated the opposing village's ninja for Obito being crushed(if that one guy caused the cave in and the other basicaly finished him off) and all of Konoha for shunning his dad and driving him to commit suicide. Kakashi knew that revenge wouldn't get him anything except an empty and hollow feeling.

The only ppl in Konoha that hid the truth about the massacre were the two elders, Danzo, and The Third Hokage. No one else knew about it which is why Sasuke's plan to take revenge on all of Konoha doesn't make sense and angers me. Why harm others that had the same amount of knowledge about the massacre that he had?

To be honest I don't think i would be consumed by revenge if someone killed my entire family. That isn't the kind of person I am. Everyone has different reactions to the same situation, so to say that Sasuke's reaction is something everyone would have is wrong. I'm not here to flame anyone just to state my opinion.

To be serious: Sasuke is not the worst of characters in the least, those who hate him do so because they consider him a traitor. And also because he was always so jealous whenever Naruto grew stronger.

But they are the same ones who love one or two Akatsuki characters such as Kisame! Why? They have always been the bad guys.

I must agree with you there...but it's probably also becuase of his rude attitude when it comes to trying to speak with him in a regular conve or because he has alot of power but only wants to use it for mainly one purpose...Itachi.

I don't know it sounds like you have followed sasuke closely. One could say that you might have some type of affinity towards him! I think peoples hate for sasuke is overrated and that you all have to see that the whole (naruto becominig a hokage) is predicated on naruto being able to reach his best friend and help return the will of fire to sasukes heart, only than can naruto become the hokage he said hime self when he met sasuke after three years. And by the way sasuke is not my favorite nor is he close i'm just playing the devils advocate on the situation
