yes he is responsibel for it being rubble. he abandoned konoha to be destroyed by pain.
he didnt "save the world from war". the uchihas would not have done much damage to konoha.

Danzo was not a hero, more like a anti hero, he is a great shinobi.

You might as well add Tobirama in this since he and Danzo caused the Uchiha Isolation til dat coup.... anywho Danzo prevented the Toad to notify Naruto was supposed to be here, hence why the village almost got destroyed.... the irony of it he caused Nagato's "peace" plan that led to the invasion. He stole Shisui's eye for his own purposes hence how agreements got his way. He makes Orochimaru a saint....
