Why do people use Edo's in 1v1's and Top 10's?

Its alright to have Edos in 1v1 matches as long as the opposing ninja in the thread can seal somehow, or OP can provide a sealing method, but Edos in Top 10s, no, I agree with you, they shouldn't be there.

And you did in fact miss the point, sir. That edo vs edo fights are fine, but edo vs regular shinobi's shouldn't be considered when discussing 1 on 1 fights or top 10, etc.
