Why do people use Edo's in 1v1's and Top 10's?

I find it very strange to compare a living shinobi to an Undying Zombie with infinity chakra and call it a fair 1v1.

Even a fodder Kiba edo'd Would solo.

It is perfectly fine to use the technique, "edo tensei" as someone's arsenal because that is indeed their pawns, but you cannot use someone as an edo.

I believe that Edo's should not be included in 1v1's.

What do you think of this matter?

If its edo vs edo then sure. But edo's overall shouldn't be considered the summoner's power, since in actuality its the summoned (edo's) power, rather than the summoner's.

an alive version of that person would be several times weaker.

If we go by that logic, Naruto and Jiraiya shouldn't have there toads included. Makes no sense. The only people that get butt get about that are Kabuto and Oro haters.

I think you missed the point. If it was say Kabuto VS Itachi, than that would be a fair fight. But Kabuto VS Edo Itachi wouldn't be fair. We saw how that kind of matchup ended un the manga.

But the fight is still not fair to begin with.

Infinity chakra and an undying body that can regenerate anything is a massive boost.

That is why i believe it would not be even even if they can be beaten.

Do you honestly think that logic works? If that was the case, the 7 Swordsman > Kiba. Why didn't they just make a million clones? No offense by the way. Just saying, it just doesn't happen like that.
