Why do people think there will be part 3 of naruto?

Naruto is already nearly 700 chapters long. The 2 main characters are already ridicolously overpowered to a point that the only villain which could be a threat to them would be cell or frieza or aizen-LOL

Honestly though all the importants of the manga have been covered. There is absoultly nothing wrong with the fact that the final and most awaited fight of the manga will only last probably 4 chapters. Also there is no need to explain the backstory of kaguya,hagoromo/hamura/other ninja aliens. Also Naruto soes need to become hokage wither.

Kishimoto has been writing the manga for 15 years now. He obviously sick of it which is why he is rushing it so much.

Seriously why would he continue the naruto manga with a part3?

There's no word on a Part 3. There's still the upcoming movie. Naruto could end up Hokage by the end of that. Who knows.

The "New Era Project" also doesn't mean a Part 3. It could be a series of movies, or it could be a single OVA that takes place after the movie, which shows Naruto becoming the Hokage and then a black screen saying "The End". Nothing is confirmed yet.

That is true but not every character is ridiculously overpowered.

I don't think there will be a part three but the anime or maybe even manga may be released depicting what happened in the future or some key details that were missing in the main manga. This would allow Kishi or his assistant(s) to go more in depth when it comes to a ton of characters who had to get sidelined for the sake of time constraints but then again, I'm sure the anime would do this for sure.

Does anyone know what an Era is. If this is the new Era beginning then we could easily have another 15 year run. How will the villages and the ninja system change. Who will be in the next teams will teams be made up of 6 man squads one from each village and a medic? There are lots of possibility here. Yes naruto and sasuke are op so two people on the planet who could only lose to each other. So all the new characters in the new Era take the spotlight saving the manga.

But it doesn't have to be a part III, there are ways it could be fulfilled. Currently, they seem to be redefining it in a way where they could potentially be Hokage in something other than in name.... which I think is kind of bullshit. Ahahahahah. The villages and leadership are part of a framework built for peace and they could invent more pieces to bolster the system that's already there.

Three reasons:
1) The announcement of the New Era project, of which the Last is only the opening,
2) The reference to a decision to be made in 2015 concerning continuing with a [part 3] manga,
3) The very important fact that manga is a business and Naruto is a hugely profitable asset of Shueisha.


The last reason is enough by itself. Publishers own the property and pay the author. The author does not necessarily gave to agree to continue writing, but then they only get royalties from old work and not big checks for the new stuff. Shueisha will put the pressure on Kishimoto, or find someone else to do the writing.

People think there might be a part 3 because the manga has a lot of loose ends to be covered still. It seems impossible to cover everything in 4 chapters.

I don't think there's going to be a part 3. I don't see why everything important can't be covered in 4 more manga chapter and a movie.
People just want details. We still don't know much about Kaguya and her sons. However it's not really that important to the plot anymore anyway.

People also feel we need closure with Orochimaru. I agree to an extent, I'd like to know his reason for attacking the leaf other than Sasuke, but otherwise I feel his role in the war was enough. He kind of redeemed himself already by helping the SA..

These things can easily be covered In the movie though. I'm not too worried about it.
