Why do people think there will be part 3 of naruto?

There will prolly not be a part 3. Mangas leave ambiguous endings very often. It's the Japanese style.

Kishi has no interest in explaining Kaguya's origins. When Naruto asked Hagoromo about Kaguya, he said where she came from didn't matter.

Whatever Hashirama gave Sasuke was supposed to bind Madara, who had his senjutsu. Whether it can be used on Naruto is unknown.

Spiral Zetsu doesn't have a purpose.

We'll everything is suppose to be explained. It seems like Kishi is just covering all these little things with this fight and hoping to briefly cover them in the movie.

It's fanboys being fanboys. Nobody wants to admit it, but the manga is nearly over. In 2 months this place will be a graveyard.

They probably did before because every other week freaking someone was always saying it was going to end, and that the 'fanboys' better prepare themselves... And of course, every single week another chapter kept coming out. So they might not have trusted anyone or any rumors at the time.
I hope there's going to be part 3, but I haven't really seen anyone say with concrete certainty that part 3 is gonna happen... Well maybe one or two..

If part 3 does happen, it will be announced in 2015. They are having a public exhibition in Tokyo around that time in January

The only way this series can go on is if Naruto took the Yugioh route, and the next series would be something like Yugioh GX with it's own plot, characters, villains and so on. But I'm not sure if it will be good and it will probably have a different author and artist.

Me personally, I don't think there will be a part 3 or any continuation for the series

At this point what would they do with a part 3 anyway? Naruto and Sasuke have already surpassed their predecessors. The main thing in Naruto is solving the cycle of hatred and bringing peace to the ninja world. If that happens by the end of p2 there's no reason for a part 3.

People are simply hoping for a part 3 to tie up loose ends and to learn more about characters that were only briefly touched on. All of this can be done in the movie and final chapters though so realistically there's no reason to make a part 3.


.....well, except the monetary incentive. If there is a part 3,'it's most likely going to suck like dbgt.
