Its because people have diffirent opinions about him. Honestly I did not like his philosophy and actions during his MS days but I respected that it was his way. I enjoyed Hebi Sasuke/Akatuski Sasuke the best. Very versatile, good attitude, and just straight out cool. MS Sasuke was cool too.

Hes not bad, he has had a traumatic life but it is annoying that he thinks he is the only one whose been through any pain. He is wishy washy, but Kishi mentioned in one of his last interviews that Sasuke's neither good or bad, his actions are just pure. This makes sense, mostly...besides the hokage thing...he doesn't want anyones acknowledgement....

His ego makes him unlikeable, him coming back and helping in the war is helping but hes still a jerk
