And remember, naruto wan't the one who killed Nagato. Nagato could still have fought but the plot happened and he decided to trust Naruto, and gave his life to save the people he killed.

Re-watch your manga/anime,
First of all Deva didn't had it's powers, till there was only petra and deva left.

Second, Naruto had 2 more sage mode recharges and intel (prep time)

Third, Nagato was set to capture, not kill.... This third will lead to fourth

Fourth, In the moment Naruto got his hands stuck in the ground by a black pole just with Deva alone, in that moment the fight was over.... What happened later was plot and the needs of nagato to capture him alive, but if he wanted, he would have killed him right there.

Fifth, on their second encounter, if it wasn't for Itachi, Naruto's soul would have been sucked.

Sixth, if it wasn't for Bee and Itachi, NAGATO's Chibaku Tensei would have eaten Naruto for lunch.

Able to learn the 5 elemental powers n the ability to learn all the jutsu in naruto verse with the help of his rinnegan is a giant leap over for his awsmness. . U know Nagato can learn your jutsu jst by looking at how U perform them. .bt, its too bad that we couldnt see him do that. . Cause he had the rinnengan and looked bad ass while fighting naruto. Btw, the reason why pain is hard to fight is because they are basically all zombie puppets. They can't feel pain and as long as you have those chakra receivers they will continue to work, unless you use oonoki's skill or a tbb which is basically superhuman. Or amaterasu.

Nagato is MASTER of ALL Elemental Natures. And he did it all at a young age.

He controls all the paths of pain, Abilities that within themselves are godly.
He can control gravity,Bring the dead back to life and kill someone by grabbing them.
If anything the Paths of Pain were his Handicap! Because after he summoned the gedo
like an idiot without Chakra of the tailed beast to give to it he was stuck with those rods in his back.
Unable to really move, SO he had to funnel his power into those bodies.

The bodies that only could really handle 1 path ability at a time.

if anything Nagato would be in a whole other league if he was never forced
to put himself in that situation, and even then he was still on top.
