You just cherrypick the "good" parts and say that's religion and leave out all the horrible and untrue parts and say "oh that's not religion".
What part of good is this verse? It talks about the end of days. I gave you a verse that speaks the truth. What? Was I suppose to post more verses? Is that what you want since I "Cherrypick", huh?

He has a tendency to go around the points people make and bring in irrelevant stuff. Dont bust your head over it.

The more people try to confute the existence of God, to subvert his Law, to challenge him, the more the prophecy you early posted gets validated. As simple as that.

You said
it does speak the truth
What I meant was that you cherrypick the parts that suit you well and you leave out all the other stuff. For example it has been scientifically proven that the Flood did not happen and that Earth is not 5000 years old. How can you say Bible speaks the truth when it has spoken untruths on many occasions? For you to say "oh yeah I see similarities with the current situation in the world and with that certain passage in the bible (end of days). Now I will pick that part and based on that I will declare that Bible speaks the truth." is just pure hypocrisy and intellectually dishonest when you know that Bible does not speak the truth. You just want it to speak the truth.

Why do people still believe the bible if things like Noah's Ark and the great flood, along with Adam and Eve have been scientifically proven to not have existed?

You can hate it all you want but that's just facts.

The bible is my favorite mythological fiction book
Why do people still believe in science when things like Noah's Arc and Adam/Eve have been biblically proven to be true?

As a raised Catholic I've always interpreted Adam and Eve as a metaphor.. But it's not the main thing in my opinion
I feel the same exact way about most things in the bible. Things that seem illogical or impossible simply didn't literally occur, but were some form of metaphor. Jesus didn't really walk on water, or turn wine into water, as those things are impossible, but in some way it symbolizes the actual occurrences. Maybe turning wine into water from symbolism for turning simple ingredients into some sort of cure, as he was a great healer. He didn't just bring people back to life using some unidentified power, but as an amazing doctor he probably healed people with secret potions and concoctions that allowed people to walk or see again. Maybe the snake that pressured Eve to eat the forbidden fruit was just a symbolism of temptations, and the fruit she ate symbolizes how she gave in to such temptations. My pastor never takes things literally from the bible when he preaches, he translated them into a more sensible version, explaining how they apply to our modern times.
