Dodon Ray does not have electricity coming from it like chidori does. The whole scene with Sasuke striking Karin and Danzo at the same time, is the exact same as Piccolo striking agony and Raditz.

I find him different because he's the purest and nicest kid I've seen in fiction. His fishing pole is really unique and his quick first step is awesome.
