Why do people like Tobirama so much?

It's not that people like Tobirama.

There are several threads that have Minato winning by a landslide and several that have Hashirama winning. I think more of the recent ones actually have Hashirama winning. He's also the least bashed on NF, too.

The time that the poll you linked earlier took place was probably when the Uchiha haters of NF were online. They all flock to that site and complain about how their favorite characters don't receive as much screentime. Lol

Usually, Tobirama is just 50/50 with the fandom. He has as many haters as he does people who don't mind vouching for him once in a while... but very few hard-core fans.

As far as the Uchiha situation- yes, he was paranoid around the Uchiha. His downfall lies in that he stated he knew the Uchiha would plan a coup sooner or later. He was entirely aware of how they felt, and yet purposely did nothing, not caring. He and Madara are the ones that furthered the Uchiha/Senju tension during their generation, which had a decent part in causing the elimination of the Uchiha clan decades later.

It's pretty obvious.

Kin and Gin died leaving Tobirama near death but survived the match anyway. So unless you're insinuating that the brothers dropped dead of their own accord, and their squad just happened to hunt down Tobirama then you don't have a foot to stand on.

Even then, the databook hints that Tobirama used a bluff tactic to wipe himself and the squad out with Gojou Kibaku Fuda.

Oh and to add to Hyuga Prodigy's post, another impressive feat:

+ He was still able to use Suiton despite the rods impaling him.

Its stated no where that tobirama killed them.
They beat him and the raikage to the brink of death.
So don't troll to make him look better he is a great character without you riding his meat and making him look bad.

You would think something like that would be mentioned or at least heavily implied at some point. The manga only mentions Kin and Gin beating Tobirama to the verge of death. Seeing as Kumogakure and Konoha were at war, I would think killing the second hokage would be a feat that Kin/Gin would have brought up at some point. If at most just to boast about said accomplishment to everyone in their village. Hell, the Fourth Raikage was the one who explained who Kin and Gin were. You would think he would have mentioned them killing Tobirama if they actually did it. Honestly, I don't think Kin and Gin were involved.

When kin and gin fought tobirama it was two on two they also fought the 2nd raikage

+ Orochimaru respected the 2nd Hokage the most.

+ Out of the 4 Hokage, Tobirama has shown to be the best Leader in terms of the village when we learned that he was credited as the Hokage that developed the most achievement for the villages organizational system infrastructure and revolutionizing in Ninja System as a "Whole" by establishing organization such as Academy, ANBU, and even created Chuunin Exam.

+ This is a major big deal because once the other villages saw Tobirama creating all these organization and the fundamental in Konoha they MIMIC the 2nd Hokage and they created similar to these organization to their villages.

+ Hashirama and Madara was the creation of the village with the Uchiha and Senju together HOWEVER Tobirama was Able to Overcome the initial clan individualism and unite all these clans men/woman as one united front. Tobirama created the stability in the first place while other new Gen Hokage must maintain it.

Tobirama Never Hate Uchiha!

+ He created the Konoha Military Police Force which was assigned to the Uchiha Clan though they still b!tch about it being the back which was the main cause for the demise -_-

He invented a lot of jutsu, and he's the only hokage who is in the "morally grey" area. Sometimes, the best written characters are not not the best people. All the other hokages are pure good, and a little boring as characters IMO in that regard.

He's cool, calm, intelligent, badass and he has a awesome design.

I like Tobirama, he did a lot for the village. The village would not have progressed as far as it did if it weren't for the systems he put in place. I think Hiruzen is much more responsible for the Uchiha situation than Tobirama. Tobirama was skeptical of them but he didn't do anything against them. He did not place them outside of the village. They chose where to live. It was Hiruzen's letting Danzo have free reign that caused the problem.

Tobirama was already dead when Kurama attacked the village. It was Hiruzen's decision to not let the Uchiha help the night of the attack that caused the rest of the village to distrust them. He thought he was protecting them but the fact that they didn't help made them look guilty since people knew Uchiha could control tailed beasts.

I don't have a foot to stand on? :leaf: Unless you have 100% concrete proof that they killed him then gtfo. It was never stated that Kin and/or Gin killed Tobirama nor was it stated that they were even part of the squad that killed him. Unless you have scans to back up what you're saying then stop trying to pass off your fanfic as a fact.
