[Discussion] Why do people like Sousuke Aizen

As the title says why do they like him?

I am at chapter 420 or something of bleach and he got beaten by ichigo. I will be honest he seems to be just like sasuke madara lelouch light etc. very calm, smart and strong. But after he went into total ape shit mode I kinda lost respect for him. He seems to get compared to madara alot of times on the base or youtube and people say aizen is a better villain or character. But imo he kinda got ****ed up at the end and lost his cool which destroyed his character overall.

So he will be brought to justice if he comes back for more stuff later please don't tell i'm still reading

Well I expected bleach to have some bs asspulls, cool fights and power-ups + good villains. I find it fun to read it isn't naruto tier in greatness but still. Its just that I thought aizen was madara sasuke lelouch light level while he is not

I don't honestly know why people like him. The fact that he pretty much throws away his ability to guard against any attacks, that his Zanpakuto is destroyed, and that he loses his unreachable personality after losing to a person who he knew everything about. The latter is the biggest weakness, I'd say, as he misjudged Ichigo's potential; calling him a "Damn Human", even though he's a Shinigami-Quincy hybrid, which Aizen was aware of; refusing to use his Shikai against Ichigo at all; and probably more I'm forgetting off of the top of my head.
