Like minato for obvious reason's, I can't stand itachi worth of shit he's hyped for what nothing(I swear all of itachi fanbase are gay dudes..) the first time itachi ever had a real opponent it was a was a fore eyed, drugged up orochimaru wannabe and itachi was bisected, disarmed and killed twice....minato's gone up against to juubei jin's and only managed to lose his arm's(come to think of it he's the only one of the revived kage's that hasn't been immobilized or killed once)

People used to like Minato because he looked cool, was said to be the fastest ninja in history, and all of that other jazz. Nowadays, Minato has lost a lot of fans because we found out:
1. Not only did he steal FTG...but he didn't even improve on it
2. Tobirama's actually faster than him with FTG and better with it
3. He's gotten fodderized too many times by Madara

That hate is something else.

1. Minato did improve FTG, do you even read the manga. He improved its versatility by adding seals to kunai and he can teleport more people at once that Tobirama. He even came up with the space time barrier, which Tobirama didn't do. How is it not improved. I guess Itachi stole fireball jutsu from his father or Shadow clones from Tobirama too right? Your logic fails.

2. Tobirama already admitted he's slower than minato. And no he's not "faster" with FTG since they're both instant. In fact tobiramas FTG is too slow with clones, yet we've seen minato use FTG with clones perfectly.

3. Minato was hit by Madara once lol. Itachi got killed by Kabuto 2-3 times. Hashirama and Tobirama are incapacitated both by Madara. Name someone who isn't a ten tailed Jinchuuriki that has harmed minato.

if torturing children, betraying your own people, helping with starting a world war and murdering 6 people, and attempting to enslave your brother is heroic

They think Itachi is a hero because Kishimoto has stated as such and multiple characters have praised him as one in the manga. You're looking at it in black and white. He didn't really have a choice and his clan would have been annihilated by Konoha's military force which is essentially every shinobi. He saved Konoha from war and had his clan maintain their honor by making them look like victims as well as made their deaths painless. He hated himself for it, even though he didn't have any better options and his clan dying was inevitable. He's certainly a hero given the context of this story.

the problme with this is that itachi didnt stop with the massacre. he accepted his role as a villaina dn got deeper and deeper into that, till eh was simply a sadistic douche torturing kids.
he condemned the world to a destructive war, helped murder 6 jinchurikis and corrupted sasuke into being a villain.how is it ok to murder kids to stop a war but completely do nothing to even slow down danzo and orochiamru?

the characters praising him as a hero dont have all the facts. we do.

Sasuke is now alive and not dead, due to Itachi. Sasuke didn't destroy Konoha and it's people earlier due to Itachi.

sasuke was alive and one fo the most evil people in the series. if itachi didnt HAPPEN to eb revived and HAPPEN to regret his actions, sasukwoudl eb just as evil now as he was before. only he'd be laughing and swimming in konoha's blood.

Sasuke had a good childhood w/ Team 7 initially due to Itachi.

correction: he had a semi good childhood for a few months with team 7 then itachi cruelly ripped it all away by torturing him and beating him into a coma.

Sasuke is now helping the alliance right now which caused them to win against Obito, due to Itachi. Itachi did pretty well.

itachi helped start a world war and nearly got his own home wiped out.

Both Minato and Itachi are good and heroes. Neither are perfect. Just chill out.
