Why do people hate sasuke?

Don't get me wrong he not my favorite character but why what is the reason. He gets handed power ups just like every other relevant character in this manga. You don't sasuke because of him or his power you hate him because of his fans. Which is entirely understandable and yet ridiculous (if that makes sense)

Seriously I don't hate him I hate his fans for thinking he "solos all" it incredibly ridiculous but it's just as ridicules that I care what a biased person thinks about a character so I hope this has changed people's perception of "if his fans are annoying he annoying too?"

People hate Sasuke for mostly illogical reasons. The following is an excerpt from an essay I wrote about Sasuke's Character.

Sasuke is one of the most hated characters in the Naruto Universe. From what I’ve seen, these are the main reasons why.
1) Sasuke is Naruto’s rival, and Naruto is the main character. Being the main character, people like Naruto, and therefore, they feel that they must hate Sasuke on principal.
2) Sasuke is an overall “mean” person, who mistreated those who cared about him, such as Sakura and Karin.
3) Sasuke is a “villain”. Many people always hate the villain in the story.
4) Sasuke betrayed Konoha and now wants to destroy it
4.5) Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha for Itachi, even though Itachi’s goal was to protect it.

I dislike his presumptuous attitude, his pompous demeanor, his shitting on of everything Itachi gave his life for, and his complete lack of respect for anything that isn't Sasuke-centric.

But all characters have illogical haters/fanboys like you are addressing. Nothing to worry about, just some punks with nothing better to do but try to force their inane and useless opinions on others. They mean nothing and have no bearing on anything. Ignore the trolls and the base would be 10 times better.
