? sorry but did you just disregard hashirama as the god of shinobi? regardless the scan you showed as proof is not enough to support your claim at all i am afraid ...hashirama grew up fighting uchiha i am sure he would have learnt to fight without getting caught with genjutsu and if he could get caught that easily he would have died way before he became the God Of Shinobi.

Are you saying that if you put Hashirama beside The Rikudou...Hashirama would lay claim to the moniker...even moreso than The Rikudou?
Anywho...you ever heard the saying when someone err's... "It happens to the best"? Don't be surprised to find out Hashirama isn't perfect. Maybe he got caught...maybe not. But I'm willing to bet he did....we will have to wait and C! ^_^
I interpreted that scan differently. I think that scan is Madara acknowledging that the Hashirama that appears in front of him is the Mokuton clone Hashirama produced.

Think about it, Madara said he was the only one able to see through Wood clones before when he taunts the Gokage. Later on, we see Madara be defeated by a wood clone, the same clone he said he was able to see through. I think Madara realizes he's lost his biggest weapon (Kyuubi) and then decides to throw the fight against the Mokuton clone in order to obtain Hashirama's DNA. Could be genjutsu but I have my doubts.
Besides, genjutsu doesn't affect clones so Hashirama could always use wood clones to avoid the genjutsu route.
