Why do ninjas cry all the time?

That's my question. It seems to me that every little thing throws them off it's like they have no confidence in themselves.
That's why I like Minato and Kushina (and older generation in general) when they sacrificed their lives to save Naruto they didn't cry. As Shinobi family they accepted that this kind of thing is more likely to happen because they were in business of war. If that were Sakura there would be ten episodes of constant crying.
It seemes like this generation hasn't accepted that at all and they are always like "oh no people are dying in war" yeah they are dying that's what war is maybe you should have chosen to be a carpenter instead if you don't want to see people get killed seriously how did Hinata ever become ninja I will never know.
Pain had it right people convince themsleves that their loved ones can't die. I'm certain that if one of them died the rest would go on an effin rampage for revenge ignoring the consequences in that sense they are worse than Sasuke he at least has an excuse for acting like a jackass. I think only Naruto can see the full picture because he acctually lost someone he cared about.
(So as you can see I'm not bitter)

Because it's emotive, the story wouldn't be very good if everyone just killed people and got killed and had no strong emotions. And the older generation are supposedly strong and wise. So they die willingly, to save one they love. So, really it's so the reader understands the emotion and they can see the ninja grow up. Like the back story for Choji, if Kishi had left out the ear-piercing, and that story, then the butterfly wings would be meaningless and people wouldn't comprehend the amount of power and the reason he became so strong.

But I mean let's look at the real world how can you become a soldier and not be prepared for war it's what you do war is all that soldiers do nothing else! They are trained for it so that civilians don't have to experience it first hand and if a soldier is so easily thrown off track what will it do to a civilian see what I'm saying?

Being pre-pared for war isn't the same as actually experiencing it, a lot of ex-soldiers in the real world are pre-pared for war, but when they leave they suffer PTSD. Which involves a healthy bit of crying.

Yeah, they're ninjas, but like someone said, they haven't experieced all this pain. Also, they are just kids-teens. And alot of stuff is going on. I mean, clan getting wiped out, being a jinjuriki, no parents, teammates dying or almost dying, etc....Alot of stuff.

Naruto's generation is still young and they will be maturing enough, to not to cry when something horrible happens. Their still kids u know.
Minato and Kushina for example were whole lot older and had already seen the horrors of war. But Naruto, Sakura and others, have never experienced such things until now.

And like BenIncher said, it's part of the story and it would be kinda lame if they wouldn't show any emotions like that.

Why did they all decide that they are going to take care of Sasuke when they knew all too well that he is a part of Akatsuki an organization that gives even Kages trouble and that has members that can kill them in a second. I mean thats not brave thats stupid and Sakura going against Sasuke alone I mean doesn't it just make you want to scream, what was her plan, getting herself killed so that Naruto would finally hate Sasuke and take him out making him miserable for life. I believe this generation of ninja will mature after the war, which is why it was brought in-to develop the characters. Tobi even said how the kids think being a ninja is fun and games, and that now they will truly experience what it really is like. Kakashi, Nagato, Minato, Kushina have already gone through it (3rd Ninja War).

That is what makes Naruto, Naruto. Stupid selfish actions, showing that u care enough for someone so that u do that kind of things. What other kind of answer do u expect? Dude, call Kishimoto and have him change the script if it bothers u so much.
