Right XD. It would have been even cooler to see Naruto understand the Kyuubi during the Pain Arc (while training for SM). After he defeated Nagato, and the Tnj shit. It would have been a twist for Naruto to tell Nagato that he wants Kurama removed so that the Tailed Beast can live free, without being held down like an animal caged in the Zoo. Which in turn it happens, but Nagato begins to revive everyone soon after with Naruto coming back to life Bijuu-less, and he offers the Rinnegan as a gift to Naruto. Something on those lines

imo, naruto should of lost against pain, had kurama extracted, but survived (because Uzumaki) as pain left Konoha
then naruto would of eventually lived on to master SM, learn FTG, more Uzumaki sealing, and then head to Akatsuki base for a final fight to free all Bijuu before the Akatsuki plans are complete

and who knows? maybe someone would of brought back Minato so he could give Naruto the other half of Kurama or even teach him FTG?

Because why would Obito do that in the first place? I doubt Naruto was interesting for Obito/Madara, seeing how they left before Kurama was even sealed.

This one holds a little more merit considering who Nagato was, and what he did.

Yoooooooooo. Dead Naruto meeting with his parents in the impure world and learning all of the Uzumaki clan secrets and FTG from his father. Coming back alive at the most cliche time of the war or w.e was going on, at the last minute. Coming in and soloing everyone, with that Sage Mode "IDGAF" vibe. I miss that Naruto so much.

Yeah, as if Konan would let Nagato's corpse be defiled. Even if a power that could potentially do a lot of harm was at stake, Konan was simply sure of her capability to protect his body, not to mention she wanted to end Obito with the premise of the Rinnegan in her possession serving as bait.

It wasn't plot in the slightest, it was a mix of Konan being overconfident, believing in Naruto's ability regardless and not wanting to defile the dead (did you even see that grave full of roses?). Even if all this isn't true, Naruto wouldn't have accepted Nagato's eyes be plucked and kept somewhere for safe-keeping. That's just something only Uchiha are used to.

Yeah but besides that, a RSM Naruto w/ that Rin'negan would have beat Sasuke so bad it's hilarious. Sasuke's Rin'negan is superior to a standard one, but not THAT inferior. Hell, even if Sasuke got DSM or something along those lines, he still loses pitifully to a RSM Rin'negan Naruto.

Naruto in the first place won't even accept someone else's eyes to be implanted on him and even if he does put them there is no guarantee he will master them like Sasuke and the Madara did considering that Indra's descendants were stronger in eyes and Ashura in body.Thats how the mix goes.They probably can't master what the other has.
If Sasuke does receive the equivalent of RSM and Naruto gets Rinnegan it would still tie like the last match was physically a tie,Anyway this thread is not Naruto vs Sasuke so let's stop to derail it Lol

If you are gonna give Naruto Rinnegan, which is a Yin/Ocular power, then you should also give Sasuke RSM, which is a Yang/Body power, neither will be able to fully master the opposite's powers, but they will most likely tie again.

Nagato isn't Madara or Sasuke and mastered the rinnegan. Showing more paths than Sasuke anyway, I think (& ik h e didn't do loads of CT at once or anything but he didn't meet Hago).
