Why Didn't Sasuke Get Two Rinngeans?

XD So he could have the 6 tomoe Rinnegan in his left eye. And a 3 tomoe Rinnegan on his right.

I'd actually like that less than what he has now. It's either symmetric, or this for me. It's actually grown on me anyways, and I suspect that he'll be similar to Itachi in terms of always having his eyes activated.

I don't understand why Kishi didn't just give Sasuke two rinnegans instead of just one. If i'm not mistaken he still has his sharingan abilities locked into his new Rinnegan (so those abilities won't go away) and if he had two instead of one he wouldn't look so derpy.

There is no explanation for that, Ultrapain. Madaras Rinnegan had also the abilities of the Sharingan because the Rinnegan is the peak of the Sharingan.
You can also forget the explanation regarding the moon-seal. That only his left side could have that power. That's nonsense, because the Rikudō no Yin no Chikara(that's the name of Sasukes seal)doesn't have to do with Sasukes Rinnegan, it's independent.
The author does what he want. He doesn't care for any former regularities.

Few reasons :

A] This way it helps him to use the power of sharingan [Genjutsu] without switching between Doujutsus [He's more versatile this way]

B] Sasuke attained the Rinnegan prematurely [Hagoromo has a part to play in this]

C] Kishi wanted to give Sasuke a unique look [Since he's the main antagonist]

D] Since Sasukes S/T technique needs a cooldown [The tomoes in his left eye represent em], this way it helps to identify for the readers as well​

He didn't get Ashura's chakra like Madara, he only got Hagaromo's Yin chakra so only got 1 eye. Yin Yang unlocks both. Indra=Yin and Ashura=Yang.

Probably this and the fact that he got only 50% of the sage's chakra.

On a side note heterochromia is hella sexy.

Kaguya had 9 tomoe.

OT: I don't think anyone knows honestly. It hasn't been explained. I hope it does though.

My only answer might be that Kishi thought it'd look bad on Sasuke if he got two rinnegan.

Incorrect, Sasuke posses 9 Tomoes since he has an EMS on his other eye, which when in base form, carries 3 Tomoes. 3+6=9, hence Sasuke has the third eye's power in-between two eyes, in one sense or another.

In the debut, Sasuke's Rinnegan had 9 tomoes
After MT was casted Madara's third Rinnegan had 6 tomoes.
