Why didn't sasuke copy ay's Lightning armor

Sorry to bring this up again, but I think Sasuke did use Lightning armor. He was using before he grabbed his sword in the movie. And when he fought Ay, his sharingan was activated the whole time. So he could have copied Ay's technique, but waited to use it, imo.
