Why didn't Neji get his own team of Genin when he became a Jonin?

Only reason i think possible is that , he became a jonin very recently and he didnt have much experience so he wasnt given a squad

I recall in the storm 3, a jounin had some genin....But maybe Neji didnt have the experience of teaching? Maybe he didnt go through the school or whatever

I don't think Neji had all that much experience to have his own team. Also I don't think he has the leadership. Maybe in future but too bad he's dead.
