Why didn't Naruto summon Gamabunta

I only include 3 people and for good reason: Orochimaru because he literally uses snakes as apart of his body as extensions for his limbs and regenerating, Hiruzen because he actually uses Enma as a fighting weapon almost like a sword, and Itachi because he uses it in direct correlation with his fighting style and his genjutsu style. I'm sure you count them cause you like Hiruzen eh?

No, it wasn't plot. Large summons aren't used unless either one of these scenarios occur:

1) The person in question is falling from a great height. (Jiraiya pushing Naruto off the cliff, Sasuke forced over the edge of the Samurai Bridge)
2) The person in question's opponent has summoned something large. (Sannin Standoff, Oro's Invasion of Konoha)
3) The person in question's opponent is just large. (Shukaku fight)


None of these occured, so Naruto didn't need Gamabunta.

Please spread the word, I'm fed up of explaining this time and time again.

Well Orochimaru summoned his giant snakes to attack Naruto in chunin exam which swallowed him then another snake which he saved Sasuke from, then the 3 headed snake during sand/sound attack, then against Jiraiya/Tsunade/Naruto/Shizune. Nagato summoned Gedo, Obito did as well, Obito summoned Kurama. Lots used summons just for more destructive power.

Because like most said, Sasuke had to leave for plot but it should have been Kabuto with a few sound ninjas who took on Kakashi and escape with Sasuke and just let both Sasuke and Naruto go all out in their fight.

Wasn't Gamabunta going to ditch him against the Shukaku at first? I remember that it had something to do with his son behind endangered by the same enemy... I think Naruto was also given credit for helping protect the toad but it wasn't the motive behind Bunta's intervention.

nah he wasn't going to ditch him if you read or watch the first time he summoned him you would know why.

He could barely control him as it was, if he summoned Bunta he'd waste chakra b/c Bunta would scoff at the fight.
