Why didn't Naruto summon Gamabunta

plot.. another things is that naruto couldnt always summon him willingly but the moment he started using kurama's chakra he should have had no problem with it..

It was a symbolic fight between the 2 of them, any outside interference would've ruined it, plus, Sasuke had to win, other wise he wouldn't of left the village.

It was man-to-man fight not a man-to-man w/ giant ass toad kinda fight.

Because the plot needed to go forward.. things wouldn't be as interesting (imo) if Sasuke had been brought back. He wasn't trying to kill Sasuke either so yeah.. sasuke won this fight but if Naruto had gone all out he would've won the fight.

No, it wasn't plot. Large summons aren't used unless either one of these scenarios occur:

1) The person in question is falling from a great height. (Jiraiya pushing Naruto off the cliff, Sasuke forced over the edge of the Samurai Bridge)
2) The person in question's opponent has summoned something large. (Sannin Standoff, Oro's Invasion of Konoha)
3) The person in question's opponent is just large. (Shukaku fight)


None of these occured, so Naruto didn't need Gamabunta.

Please spread the word, I'm fed up of explaining this time and time again.

I include them as their power.

I only include 3 people and for good reason: Orochimaru because he literally uses snakes as apart of his body as extensions for his limbs and regenerating, Hiruzen because he actually uses Enma as a fighting weapon almost like a sword, and Itachi because he uses it in direct correlation with his fighting style and his genjutsu style. I'm sure you count them cause you like Hiruzen eh?
