Why didn't Jiraya tell Naruto that Minato was hes dad

Does Kakashi know it, that Minato was Naruto's dad by now ? I mean I can't remember if Kakashi know it or Naruto told him

He always known. When Naruto was talking about Minato appear during the fight against Nagato, Kakashi brought up the fathers speech...

come on man because of plot it was more fun that way. I mean after it was revealed only tsunade acted shocked to me even A was like so what your father was more awesome than me, but he's dead so what.

It worked out for the better to me all that suffering made him stronger both in will and body. Every character that suffers in this manga becomes strong. Thats why saukra, ino and ten ten are kinda weak they never truly had adversity like other characters.

Two different situations. In Team7 case their main objective was right with them. He was priority, not Naruto.

And nothing changed. Part1 Naruto was faaaaar away from being retard you make him to be (I dont know why, are you Naruto hater?), he outsmarted Zabuza, Gaara and Neji. before you all start blaming plot think about it. if Naruto knew who his parents were he wouldn't had felt that he had to try a little harder than everyone he would've assumed that things should come more natural to him so why bother training..or maybe Kakashi and Jaraiya planned on telling him but decided if they put that "carrot" (Minato's Legend) in front of him they could both produce another like him...

I think the 3rd Hokage determined that such information should be kept as low profile as possible, especially from his own child. Which actually makes sense, there's no point in telling the child until the appropriate time. However, in the case of the jinchuuriki, it's more a security measure. Jiraiya, as free-wheeling as he is would also honor such a mandate by the 3rd.
