i Think it was early shippuden or in part 1, but they said that "The 8th gates gives you the power, of that of a bijju" or something along the lines, it was cool to see gai beat-up madara and get some shine, but he wasn't suppose to be that strong, kishi was kind of contradicting himself

gai is superior IF he got time to use gates, in 'real nv ' fight he wouldnt have time to open all gates before he was dead. IF opponent gives him time and space to open em, you're pretty much screwed.

well their mostly accurate, its the number one site for knowing about characters and what happens in the story, but nonetheless, its whatever, your entitled to your own opinion, but i still dont think gai should have been that strong, the chapter said "one hokage", madara was stronger then hashirama, because he got his senjustu, and he had the rinnegan as-well, but its whatever
