Indra was an amazing warrior. He inherited his own badass dojutsu, Hagoromo's amazing chakra and genius, he had a massive PS with no eye surgery or deterioration, he didn't Bijuu chakra to use Indra's Arrow as pointed out in a separate thread. Indra was also a great match for Ashura, both having to press themselves to the max and destroying their bodies in battle. He may have lost the war as Hagoromo said, but he did it valiantly.
The Uchiha, bar Itachi-sama, can make no such claims largely. They steadily try to steal DNA from the superior Senju clan, Ashura's descendants. VERY few even have the ability to awaken the MS, and they have to switch eyes and use the power of butthurt to attain the same power that Indra got with his lone wolf stylisms.
Biggest case and point is Kakashi Hatake. He is not Uchiha, yet he is easily the most proficient with his dojutsu as well as attaining the legendary PS with only MS, which Indra's latest descendant could not do until he was given a Rinnegan with tomoe and godlike Yin chakra to boot. How did Indra, his transmigrants, and his clan descendants become so weak from such a perfect fighter?
