[Theory] Why did Sasuke have more knowledge on Infinite Tsukuyomi than Naruto?

I have to agree with everybody else then. I assume that was because sasuke was simply being cautious. Sasuke saw the eye reflect off the moon and knowing that naruto's survival was his only hope to seal Kaguya, he did the smart thing and made sure naruto would be safe.

No, he specifically said that "without the susanoo I created with my eyes you will be affected by his genjutsu too" also the way says "this is bad" when he sees the markings on moon strongly implies he knows more about IT,then many will assume

I don't think so because he created the susanoo to counter madara's chibaku tensei. If sasuke made the susanoo specifically for the IT, then I would say you're right. But he made it to reach madara and destroy the meteors. It just so happened that his susanoo was out when the IT began. So probably it was just coincidence and not indicative that he had some type of extra information about the IT.

Now, this is actually a good point. equal sets of eyes can't genjutsu each other, seems to make sense to me.

Didn't Obito put Kakashi in a Genjutsu? And Black Zetsu who rewritten the tablet didn't know that Sasuke can do that.

He shouldn't assume IT is restricted by the same limitations as normal genjutsu, because it's far from a normal genjutsu.

For instance, normal genjutsu is forcefully effecting the victims chakra system so the sense what you want them to. With IT people are basically creating their own personal illusion. No other genjutsu works this way. There are several other ways IT is different from normal genjutsu, so all the same rules may not apply.

For me, it would make more sense that Sasuke would've gotten some basic information from Tobito, since he was the one who wanted to go through with IT. He did spend alot of time working for him after the Itachi Pursuit arc.

The IT user does make Illusions for the person. Madara said that to Obito in chapter 606.
